Welcome to the EHDEN Portal

The European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) project aimed to establish a trusted observational research ecosystem to support better health decisions, outcomes, and care. Its mission was to advance a new paradigm for the discovery and analysis of health data in Europe by building a large-scale, federated network of data sources standardised to the OMOP Common Data Model. Over its lifetime, the project successfully created one of the largest federated networks of harmonised health data in Europe, engaging a broad community of data partners and stakeholders. Some of the results and infrastructure of the EHDEN project continue to be maintained for the benefit of the community. For instance, the EHDEN Portal remains an entry point to the tools and resources developed within this ecosystem. The Database Catalogue (including Dashboards) and the EHDEN Academy are available for general use. 

The EHDEN Foundation builds on the outcomes of the project and ensures the sustainability of its key assets, services, and collaborations. It supports the continued growth of the network, promotes best practices in real-world data research, and fosters collaboration across stakeholders in academia, industry, healthcare, and regulatory bodies.
